Prices of puppies vary by litter and will either be registered with the North American Purebred Registry or the National Assoc of Louisiana Catahoulas. We do not sell to breeders.

Prefer active homes, farms, hunters or those who can provide an area (or frequent an area) for swimming. Our dogs love water! Catahoulas love being with the family and make wonderful inside dogs.

Why Buckshot Catahoulas?

Other breeders will produce deaf and blind puppies and either terminate them once born, or sell them for reduced prices, often not even telling the new owners that their new puppy has vision or hearing issues.

Our dogs and puppies are part of our family and live indoors. All puppies are raised indoors

Puppies have started their crate training before leaving at 8 weeks old

Puppies are socialized with children and animals

Our dogs are introduced to water and the woods from an early age

Puppies wormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks and seen by our vetrinarian
Buckshot Catahoulas NEVER produces deaf or blind puppies to begin with.

Also Note: Catahoulas are not eligible for AKC registration.
Vaccinations and Vet Checkup
Our puppies are vet checked and have their first rounds of vaccinations from our vets at Atmore Animal Hospital. They receive several wormings from us and the vet as well.

It is VERY important you schedule an appointment with your personal vet as soon as possible to schedule the remainder of your puppy's vaccinations.
YOUR PUPPY IS NOT SAFE UNTIL THEY COMPLETE THEIR ENTIRE COURSE OF VACCINATIONS.
*Before a puppy has finished his/her course of vaccinations, please refrain from taking them to public places such as Petsmart, dog parks etc.
